SUMMARY:Colorado's New Judicial Discipline Process: An Update on Implementation - Webinar
DESCRIPTION:In November 2024\, Colorado voters approved Amendment H\, fundamentally reshaping how the state investigates and disciplines judges — creating an independent Judicial Discipline Adjudicative Board and launching a multi-year rule-making effort to govern the new process. Nearly two years later\, the Judicial Discipline Rule-Making Committee has adopted a substantial body of new rules covering everything from the definition of “judge” and board jurisdiction to discovery\, hearings\, and case resolution. Join members of the Rule-Making Committee for an overview of the rulemaking process and a look at the formal rules finalized in May 2026.

SUMMARY:Korey Wise Innocence Project Gala 2026
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a night packed with good vibes: a plated dinner\, complimentary wine and beer plus a cash bar\, an exciting live auction\, a silent auction featuring art by incarcerated artists\, inspiring speakers\, programming and much more! \nThis year has been one of the most impactful in our organization’s history. In April 2026\, KWIP secured the release of Stephen Martinez after 27 years in prison based on flawed shaken baby syndrome evidence. We are also close to overturning the convictions of two other clients\, both of whom have spent decades incarcerated. Both courts have determined that unreliable evidence and serious errors had undermined their convictions but other issues are holding up a final resolution.
