Taft has expanded its Denver footprint with a third lease at Block 162, underscoring the firm’s continued growth in the Colorado market. The latest agreement adds 29,181 square feet to its existing space in the 30-story Class A office tower, bringing its total presence to more than 100,000 square feet. The building, developed by Patrinely, is in Denver’s central business district.
The firm first moved into Block 162 in 2021 as Sherman & Howard, prior to its merger with Taft effective Jan. 1, 2025. It initially occupied two floors before expanding in 2023 with additional space. Since the merger, Taft’s Denver office has continued to grow, adding attorneys across multiple practice areas and building out its regional platform.
The newly leased space is expected to accommodate 80 attorneys and staff and will include expanded collaboration areas, client meeting rooms, and workplace amenities designed to support ongoing growth.
Taft reports that its Colorado presence has grown by roughly 30% since the merger, with the addition of 38 attorneys spanning litigation, intellectual property, fintech and labor and employment practices. The firm has more than 1,250 attorneys across 25 offices nationwide.
