Greenberg Traurig added Shaun Kennedy as a shareholder in its Denver office, expanding the firm’s government contracts practice. Kennedy joins the firm from Holland & Hart.

Kennedy focuses on bid protest litigation, internal investigations and regulatory compliance counseling for government contractors and private entities. His practice includes matters involving the aerospace and defense, construction and technology industries, including pre-award counseling, post-award disputes and enforcement matters.

According to the firm, Kennedy has represented clients in bid protests before the Court of Federal Claims and the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, as well as contract disputes before the Boards of Contract Appeals and federal district courts. His work has also included internal investigations involving allegations under the Defense Contractor Whistleblower Protection Act.

“Government contractors increasingly face challenges that cross borders and span multiple regulatory regimes, and being part of a firm with global reach means I can bring resources to bear that truly make a difference for clients. I am excited to build on that foundation and continue growing my practice in service of contractors across the aerospace, defense, construction and technology sectors,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy earned his law degree from American University Washington College of Law and a B.B.A. from University of Kentucky. He is admitted to practice law in Colorado and the District of Columbia.
