FGMC announces expansion with new Los Angeles office, adds four

Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher, LLP (FGMC) announced the opening of their new office in Los Angeles, California. This expansion reflects the firm’s continued growth and commitment to serving clients with greater accessibility and presence in key markets. The Los Angeles office will be home to attorneys David Canter and Christine Ghattas.

Canter was a partner at FGMC from 2012 to 2019, but returned to his native California to be closer to family. He brings more than 36 years of experience as a civil litigator and trial attorney, with a practice focused on defending property owners and managers in complex habitability, negligence, and nuisance claims. His background also includes insurance defense, construction defect, premises liability, and business disputes.

Ghattas previously worked with the firm as a law clerk during her time at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and now returns to the team as an attorney in the Los Angeles office. She focuses her practice on civil litigation and brings extensive courtroom experience from both civil and criminal matters.

FGMC also added two associates to their Colorado offices. Keslie Cooper, Associate Attorney in the Grand Junction office, has strong ties to Colorado’s Western Slope. Cooper is a litigation and compliance attorney whose practice spans employment law, corporate and municipal matters, regulatory compliance, and civil litigation. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Denver and her J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where she received a Certificate in Environmental Law and multiple academic honors.

Chris Brock joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in the Denver office. His practice focuses on personal injury matters, and he also assists clients with select estate planning needs, including special needs trusts. Prior to joining the firm, Brock founded and developed Probate Power, a respected legal practice dedicated to serving families and individuals with special needs. Brock received his undergraduate degree from Miami University and his J.D from the University of Colorado Law.
