
Davis Graham & Stubbs has appointed Mark Champoux, Tess Hand-Bender and Sam Niebrugge to its Executive Committee.
The appointments expand representation on the committee from the firm’s litigation, investigations, corporate transactions, and energy practice areas.

Champoux leads the firm’s Trial & Appellate Group and serves as ethics counsel. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, government investigations and enforcement matters. Before joining the firm, he served as a senior official at the U.S. Department of Justice. He also serves on the boards of the Colorado Technology Association and the Colorado Symphony.
Hand-Bender’s practice focuses on commercial litigation involving the telecommunications, energy, financial services and real estate industries. She is also a member of the firm’s White Collar Defense & Investigations Group, representing clients in internal investigations and government enforcement matters. She serves on the executive committee of the Colorado Lawyers Committee, the board of directors of the Colorado Judicial Institute, chairs the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion committee, and co-chairs its Women’s Network.
Niebrugge leads the firm’s Energy & Mining Group, advising clients on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other transactions in the energy and natural resources sectors. He also chairs the Lex Mundi Energy and Natural Resources Practice Group and the Foundation for Natural Resources & Energy Law Site Selection Committee. He previously led the firm’s Partnership Selection Committee, overseeing associate mentorship and development.
