Dinsmore & Shohl announced that Brian P. Kershaw has joined the firm’s Denver office as a partner. Kershaw focuses his practice on insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, commercial litigation, product liability and subrogation matters.
Licensed in Colorado, Oklahoma and Arkansas, Kershaw has more than a decade of experience representing insurers and insureds in first-party and third-party disputes. His experience also includes insurance defense, construction defect claims, premises liability, property damage disputes and wrongful death cases.
Kershaw advises insurers and companies on insurance coverage and bad faith disputes, including claims and litigation strategy. His work includes pre-suit investigations, motion practice, depositions, trials and appellate matters.

Kershaw earned his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he served as an articles editor for the Energy Law Journal, and his bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University. He is a member of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, Colorado Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association and Defense Research Institute.
