Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck announced that Logan Fry, a policy adviser in the firm’s State Government Relations Group, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Women’s Bean Project, a nonprofit social enterprise that provides transitional employment and job training for women facing barriers to employment, including incarceration, homelessness, addiction and poverty.
As a board member, Fry will help oversee the organization’s long-term strategy, governance and financial sustainability. The firm said he also will draw on his government relations and public policy experience to advise the nonprofit on local and state policy issues.
According to the firm, Fry has supported the Women’s Bean Project for more than a decade after learning about the organization through its products and becoming involved with its mission.
“When the opportunity to serve on the board of directors arose, I was eager to get involved,” he said. “It is a privilege to give back to an organization whose mission I deeply believe in and to help advance the life-changing work it does for women in our community.”
