
The Colorado Courts were established in 1876, the same year Colorado became the 38th state. Since then, the judiciary has evolved alongside the people it serves—expanding access to justice, embracing new technologies, and responding to the needs of a growing and diverse state.
To celebrate its 150th birthday, the Colorado Judicial Branch has published a series of videos and created a webpage dedicated to educating citizens and others on its history and changes since inception.
