Get more acquainted with the Colorado legal community with our weekly 5Q feature.
Submissions come from lawyers, paralegals, judges, law professors and other members of the legal community. In 5Q, you’ll discover insights into the profession while learning more about the people behind the practice.
This week’s 5Q features Aaron Burton, an attorney at Fairfield and Woods P.C., where his practice area is Tax and Estates. He prefers coffee over tea during trial prep, paper vs. digital briefs, research and writing rather than trial work, and he considers himself an early-bird lawyer.
Question 1: What do you like most about Colorado?
Burton: So many activities — skiing, fishing, hiking, rafting, biking, etc.
Q2: What do you like least about Colorado?
Burton: The cost of living.
Q3: What’s the best career advice that you’ve received?
Burton: Your reputation is everything.
Q4: What legal issue do you think will matter most in the next 10 years?
