Gov. Polis appoints Lochlin I.S. Rosen to 17th Judicial District

Gov. Jared Polis on May 27 appointed Lochlin I.S. Rosen to the 17th Judicial District, effective July 1, 2026. This appointment fills a new judgeship created by Senate Bill 25-024.

Rosen has served as a deputy state public defender in the Brighton office since 2017, where his practice focuses on criminal defense. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Elon University in 2011 and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 2017.
