Gov. Polis Appoints Tamara Sullivan to the Costilla County Court

Gov. Jared Polis on Sept. 1 appointed Tamara Sullivan to the Costilla County Court in the 12th Judicial District. The vacancy is created by the retirement of Judge Kimberly Wood and is effective Jan. 10, 2023.

Sullivan is the managing attorney for the Colorado Legal Services Alamosa office, a position she’s held since 2013. According to the announcement, her practice consists of domestic relations, housing and protection matters. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Regis University in 2006 and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2012.
