BAL announced Oct. 5 that Marissa Cwik and her immigration team have joined the firm, expanding its Denver office.
Cwik has more than a decade of experience advising national and multinational employers on immigration matters, including workforce mobility and immigration compliance. Her practice includes developing immigration programs and advising employers on workforce mobility and business immigration strategies.
“Companies need immigration counsel that can help proactively navigate today’s volatile immigration environment,” Cwik said. “BAL’s oneBAL model makes that possible by bringing the resources of the entire firm to support all clients.”
Frieda Garcia, BAL’s managing partner, said Cwik’s addition expands the firm’s ability to serve clients in Denver and the Rocky Mountain region.
Cwik earned her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and began her legal career with the U.S. Department of Justice. She is admitted to practice in Colorado, Minnesota and Tennessee and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
