Werge & Corbin Law Group announced April 15 that Matt Stevens has joined the firm, returning to the full-time practice of law.
Stevens brings decades of legal and business experience with some of the largest entities in some of the most complexly regulated industries, according to the announcement. He has also appeared before the Federal Trade Commission and the European Commission on antitrust and competition disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Stevens spent 10 years at Optum and at Advisory Board, where he counseled leaders across the health care ecosystem — including hospitals, device manufacturing, pharmaceutical and insurance companies, law firms and other consultants — on the business impacts and compliance requirements of various federal and state regulations. He also led multidisciplinary teams providing analytics and risk analysis, data governance, vendor management, process improvement and data privacy compliance.
