
Joel Heusinger and Daniel Gross have been selected as arbitrators for the American

Arbitration The AAA created the panel in 2016 in collaboration with lawyers and industry professionals who specialize in construction mega projects. The panel’s top-rated construction arbitrators, selected by a rating committee of advocates and in-house counsel with experience in construction and infrastructure disputes, which Gross and Heusinger both have.
Gross is a senior advisor at Woods Aitken, where his practice focuses on alternative dispute resolution. A member of the AAA National Construction Arbitrator Panel for more than 35 years, Gross has handled over 100 appointments in 12 states, including numerous seven- and eight-figure disputes, and has taken more than 40 arbitrations through final award. He is also an active mediator.

Heusinger has practiced with Woods Aitken since 1986, concentrating on construction law and litigation. He has led complex construction disputes nationwide, participated in more than 400 mediations and handled numerous arbitrations. He is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers and a former Board of Governors member and is ranked in Chambers USA for construction law.
