Stryker Corporation and Seyfarth Shaw LLP were ordered to pay nearly $275,000 in one of the largest sanctions in recent Colorado history and a debate between two Denver DA candidates discussed their separate visions for the office. In a busy week, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled probable cause on one charge doesn't categorically defeat a malicious-prosecution claim. It also found an American citizen didn’t have fundamental liberty interest in her noncitizen spouse being admitted to the U.S. and that the Second Amendment allows for temporary disarming of individuals found by a court to pose a credible threat to the physical safety of others.
