Companies may now face civil fines from the FTC for practices involving fake reviews — Law Week broke down the new rule for in-house counsel and law firms alike. Law Week also attended a CLE on art law presented by Channah Norman of Shook, Hardy & Bacon to a crowded room of Colorado corporate counsel. Also this week, the 10th Circuit agreed with a district court’s ruling on derivative sovereign immunity. Plus Hearn & Fleener announced it secured an $8.5 million arbitration win in a Broomfield construction defect case.
