In just two months since its launch, the Denver County Court’s new competency support docket has heard more 200 cases and made more than 100 referrals.

The grant will be awarded over a two-year period and spread across five of the Denver County Court’s speciality programs.

The Denver County Court announced a new competency support docket with a goal to connect defendants with competency concerns to mental health support services and expedite legal proceedings.
