In November 2024, Colorado voters approved Amendment H, fundamentally reshaping how the state investigates and disciplines judges — creating an independent Judicial Discipline Adjudicative Board and launching a multi-year rule-making effort to govern the new process. Nearly two years later, the Judicial Discipline Rule-Making Committee has adopted a substantial body of new rules covering everything from the definition of “judge” and board jurisdiction to discovery, hearings, and case resolution.
