Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Lassen was employed as a software and systems engineer at Lockheed Martin.

Tyrone Glover assumed the role of 2020-2021 Denver Bar Association president. The official inauguration will be held at the DBA’s annual Passing of the Gavel event, to be held on Jan. 27.

In response to the vacancy created by president-elect Dan Sweetser, who became DBA’s deputy executive director, Glover will split what would have been Sweetser’s term with current president Kevin McReynolds. That gives Glover 18 months (instead of 12) in office.

Glover practices civil rights and criminal defense law at Killmer Lane & Newman.

“We need to be inclusive of the many stakeholders that make up our community,” said Glover. “I would like to expand our engagement with our partner bars and organizations because I think that will be key to us all leading effectively through such a tough time.”

David Tenner, special counsel at Ridley McGreevy & Winocur, has been appointed as co-chair of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section’s Arbitration Committee and co-chair of the ABA’s Annual Arbitration Training Institute for 2021.
