Three Nominated for 18th District Judgeship

The 18th Judicial District Nominating Commission announced May 18 that it has nominated three candidates for a district court judgeship created by the resignation of Judge Natalie Chase. The vacancy will occur on May 31, 2021. Nominees are: Marques Ivey, Cajardo Lindsey and Cheryl Ann Rowles-Stokes, all of Aurora.

Under the Colorado Constitution, the governor has 15 days from May 19 to appoint one of the nominees as district court judge for the 18th Judicial District, which includes Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln counties.
