Trial Attorney Nancy Cohen Joins Ireland Stapleton

Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe announced that Nancy Cohen, a trial attorney with an additional focus on legal ethics and professional responsibility, has joined the firm. Cohen brings more than three decades of litigation experience and will continue her work in attorney regulation, commercial litigation and legal ethics at Ireland Stapleton’s Denver office.

Cohen previously served as the chief deputy regulation counsel for the Colorado Supreme Court and is a former chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Ethics Committee. She has served as a special master and hearing officer in various complex legal proceedings. Most recently, Cohen was a founding partner of Cohen|Black Law, where she handled professional liability, legal ethics and civil litigation matters.


Her practice at Ireland Stapleton will focus on legal ethics and attorney regulation, law firm risk management and expert witness work, professional liability defense and complex commercial litigation. 

Cohen is a fellow of the American and Colorado Bar Foundations and has been recognized by Colorado Super Lawyers and Martindale Hubbell.
