This in-person program offers a practical, behind-the-scenes look at life on the bench and the judicial nomination process in Colorado. Attendees will hear directly from current judges about their paths to judicial service, the realities of the role, and advice for attorneys interested in pursuing a judicial appointment. The program will also provide insight into the Governor’s appointment process and available resources for aspiring judges. This session is specifically designed for attorneys who plan to apply for the bench within 1-3 years and judges who are considering a higher court.
