Taft, which recently combined with Sherman & Howard, announced April 9 the return of Joe Daniels, a litigation partner who returned after a brief time with another firm, and partner Chris Haunschild, a tax and mergers and acquisitions attorney.
As a trial lawyer, Daniels represents clients from around the country in all aspects of litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motions practice, trial and post-trial issues. He brings experience litigating intellectual property and business tort disputes. Daniels was an attorney at Sherman & Howard for 11 years prior to departing.
“Returning to the firm feels like a natural choice as I grow my practice. Sherman & Howard played a crucial role in my development as an attorney, and its recent merger with Taft has strengthened its foundation,” said Daniels in a press release. “I’m excited to be part of this next chapter, where I can contribute to the continued success of the firm.”
With more than 25 years of experience, Haunschild has advised companies in an array of industries on the implications of domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations, financing transactions, securities offerings and joint ventures with an aggregate value of more than $100 billion.
“The work I do with clients is about providing them with the right resources to achieve their business goals,” said Haunschild in a press release. “I’m looking forward to continuing my practice at Taft and collaborating with the talented group of business attorneys here.”
