This week, we heard from Aditi Kulkarni-Knight, an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs. “She represents clients in all stages of complex commercial litigation, including discovery, motions practice, settlement negotiations, trial or arbitration and federal and state appeals.” Read more about her practice and experience in her online biography.

Question 1

What is your favorite restaurant and what’s your favorite thing to order there?

A: I don’t get it often but the Chef’s Table at Sushi Den is unbeatable.

Question 2

If you could travel back in time and talk to any historical figure about the law, who would you talk to and what would you say to them?

A: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Not only was she a trailblazer for women in the profession, I think she was one of the greatest legal minds of all time.

Question 3

What’s your favorite weekend activity?

A: I have a 9-month-old so my current favorite weekend activity is napping when the baby naps! Pre-COVID and pre-baby, my favorite weekend activity was jumping on a plane or in the car and exploring a new city.

Question 4

Which rule of evidence do you hate the most and why?

A: All the hearsay rules. Imagine how much easier our lives as trial lawyers would be if there were no hearsay rules!

Question 5

What’s your favorite book and why?

A: I grew up reading the Harry Potter books as they came out, and love them all, but I think Goblet of Fire is my favorite.
