Gov. Polis Appoints Keith Goman to the Jefferson County Court in the 1st Judicial District

Gov. Jared Polis on Oct. 19 appointed Keith Goman to the Jefferson County Court in the 1st Judicial District. The vacancy was created by the retirement of Judge K.J. Moore, effective Oct. 31. Goman’s fellow nominees for the judgeship included Arvadans Christopher Rhamey and Amber St. Clair.

Goman is a member at Hall & Evans, LLC, a position he’s held since 2017. His practice consists of civil litigation. Previously, he was an associate from 2011 to 2014, special counsel from 2014 to 2016 and a member of the board of directors since 2020 at Hall & Evans. Goman was also formerly a deputy district attorney in the 1st Judicial District Attorney’s Office from 2006 to 2011.


Goman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in 2003 and his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2006.
