Moye White LLP announced the addition of Lilly Lentz to the alternative dispute resolution, construction, employment and litigation practice groups. As a commercial litigator and trial attorney, Lentz brings experience in representing business clients in a wide range of complex cases. Her practice focuses on delivering strategic solutions to her clients, as well as construction and real estate law, including partition actions, quiet title cases, failure to disclose claims and construction defects. She has experience in diverse aspects of commercial litigation, providing guidance to executive teams and director-level management on matters such as contracts, business and employment practices, regulations and strategies for avoiding and resolving disputes. She earned her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. 


Womble Bond Dickinson LLP announced Wayne Chancellor joined the firm’s newly opened Denver office. Chancellor brings experience providing legal counsel and business guidance to national and international clients operating in the energy and natural resources sector, including two decades as in-house counsel for AngloGold Ashanti North America. Chancellor advises clients on a wide range of legal and business matters, including corporate governance, risk identification and mitigation, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property. Chancellor received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. 

The Judiciary

The 16th Judicial District Nominating Commission has nominated three candidates for an Otero County Court judgeship. This vacancy was created by the retirement of Judge Douglas Manley and will occur on May 1. Nominees James Bullock of La Junta, William Culver of Rocky Ford and Alex Egri of Cheraw were selected in a meeting at the Otero Combined Court on Feb. 27. Under the Colorado Constitution, the governor has 15 days from Feb. 28 to appoint one of the nominees as county court judge for Otero County.
