This presentation, approved for 2 CLE credits, reviews the Colorado General Assembly and how a bill becomes law. The program will review the makeup of Colorado’s General Assembly, how a bill becomes a law, terms and vocabulary associated with the law-making process, how to find a review proposed legislation, when the public can testify and how to advocate for or against a bill.
