Sports betting has been legal in Colorado for three months now, but with professional sports canceled for much of that time, people were turning to some unusual alternatives; also, the 10th Circuit became the first federal appellate court in the country to apply the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent Title VII ruling in finding that the law covered “sex + age” discrimination; the Legal Aid Foundation recently held a fundraiser but has a spike in people needing assistance; and the El Paso County Court announced at the beginning of August that it would delay in-person trials for two weeks after one of its court employees tested positive for coronavirus.
