Gov. Jared Polis on April 8 appointed Jason Kelly to fill a vacancy on the Conejos County Court in the 12th Judicial District.

Polis selected Diana May to fill a vacancy on the 4th Judicial District Court in El Paso and Teller counties.

Polis selected Kim Shropshire to fill a judicial vacancy on the 6th Judicial District Court serving La Plata, Archuleta and San Juan counties.

Last year, Historic Denver made the home of former Judge Raymond Jones into a landmark. While Jones didn’t build that house himself, he laid another brick by brick — a house that had a perpetually open door to the state judiciary and broader legal system.
