The nation’s high court upheld the 2022 federal rule interpreting that the Gun Control Act of 1968 covers weapon parts kits that can be used to assemble untraceable “ghost guns.”
The 10th Circuit found that the district court erred when it granted a preliminary injunction against a Colorado law raising the minimum age for gun purchases and sales in the state.
The Colorado Court of Appeals also ruled on Aug. 8 that no implied private right of action to enforce fees and taxes for total loss of a motor vehicle.
In Hakeem v. Kansas Department of Human Services, a 10th Circuit panel out of Kansas City, Kansas, affirmed a lower court's dismissal of a CARES Act complaint.
