Gov. Jared Polis on Feb. 18 announced the appointment of Erin Rowe Wilson to fill a vacancy on the Routt County Court in the 14th Judicial District. The judgeship is created by the retirement of Judge James Garrecht. The vacancy is effective March 7.
According to the announcement, Wilson is currently a practitioner with The Law Office of Erin Wilson, LLC, a position she has held since 2013. Previously, Wilson was a Deputy Public Defender in Fort Collins from 2006 to 2013. She earned her bachelor’s from the University of Southern California in 1988 and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006.
