Gov. Jared Polis on Jan. 14 announced the appointment of William Moller as a district court judge in the 4th Judicial District. This judgeship was created by the appointment of Judge Timothy Schutz to the Colorado Court of Appeals. The vacancy is effective immediately.
Moller is a district court magistrate in the 4th Judicial District, a position he’s held since 2020. His docket primarily consists of domestic relations. From 2008 to 2020, he was an owner at The Moller Law Group, LLC and from 2007 to 2008, he was an attorney with David W. Kirch, P.C. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Army from 1985 to 2005. Moller earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 1984 and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2007.
