Michelle Gomez named Executive Director of Wellness, Engagement and Development at Littler

Littler named shareholder Michelle Gomez as the firm’s executive director of wellness, engagement and development, a newly created role focused on employee wellness, engagement and professional development initiatives.

“I’m thrilled that Michelle is stepping into this position, which sits at the center of how we support one another — not just as colleagues, but as people balancing demanding, complex work alongside our personal lives and priorities,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s managing director and president.

In the role, Gomez will oversee the firm’s wellness strategy and programs supporting employees’ mental, physical and emotional health. She also will work with firm leadership to integrate wellness initiatives into the firm’s culture and continue overseeing attorney development programs, including onboarding and training initiatives.

“Michelle has had an immeasurable impact at Littler and been a tireless advocate for the role wellness plays in our lives,” said Melissa Cee, Littler’s chief talent officer. “She brings intention and empathy to every aspect of her work.”

Gomez’s appointment comes during Mental Health Awareness Month and as employers report increased mental health-related leave and accommodation requests. According to Littler’s 2026 Employer Survey, nearly 70% of employers experienced an increase in mental health-related leave requests and accommodation requests over the past year.

“Wellness has long been a passion of mine, and I’m grateful to work at a firm that truly values these efforts and makes them a core part of its DNA,” Gomez said.
