More Than 100 Bills Postponed Indefinitely

Lawmakers in the state House and Senate have introduced more than 700 bills in the second regular session of the General Assembly. Of those, more than 110 have been postponed indefinitely and more than 120 were passed into law. Of the killed bills, one would have abolished abortion in the state, one would have created a policy review panel for plant based medicines, one would have required health care providers who perform abortions to annually make a report of summarizing data available to the public and one would have made possession of large-capacity ammunition magazines for sanctioned shooting competitions legal.
