Big Deals Q1

When KUNC’s Bente Birke-land broke the news of sexual harassment in the state capitol, the national conversation on harassment in high places was just getting started and the actual legislative session hadn’t even begun. And still, reforms at the Capitol remain unfinished business. The topic tops our list of issues in the legislative wrap up. As the topic spills over into 2019, we’ll be watching to see how things develop in the next nine months until the General Assembly convenes again. Our hunch is that things won’t be blowing over in the interim, though.
