The state Supreme Court ruled on a dispute about how to split public pension benefits in a divorce and it announced Bryon Large was selected as the state’s new presiding disciplinary judge, lawmakers introduced a bill that would repeal a requirement to confirm an individual's lawful presence in the U.S. before issuing identification documents and a bill to address the fentanyl crisis passed its first committee vote with amendments to add harsher penalties for possession, two diesel companies pleaded guilty to conspiring with a Colorado-based diesel shop to violate the Clean Air Act and we spoke with local attorney Dan Geyser who won a recent SCOTUS appeal over federal jurisdiction.
